Our Favorite Dice Game: "Thousand"
In the dice game Thousand, players take turns rolling the dice and tallying their scores. The first player to reach 1000 points wins. Not all dice rolls award points—only specific ones count, based on a unique scoring system. Points are accumulated using five dice, which can award points individually or through various combinations. Each round starts with a roll of all five dice. After the dice land, the result is analyzed for scoring combinations. Scoring dice are then set aside, and the remaining dice may be rolled again if the player chooses. New to the game? Don't worry—you can find all the rules explained in the game description.
