Application Description

CPU-Z is an essential application for Android users looking to delve deep into their device's specifications. This free app, a mobile counterpart to the renowned PC tool, provides a comprehensive overview of your device's hardware.

With CPU-Z, you can explore detailed information about your device's System on Chip (SoC), including the name, architecture, and clock speed for each core. Additionally, the app offers insights into system information such as the device brand and model, screen resolution, RAM, and storage capacity. It also covers battery specifics like level, status, temperature, and capacity, along with a list of available sensors.

Requirements

To use CPU-Z, your device must be running Android version 2.2 or above. This ensures compatibility starting from version 1.03 and later.

Permissions

The app requires the INTERNET permission to facilitate online validation, a feature introduced in version 1.04 and later. Additionally, the ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission is used for collecting statistics.

Notes

The online validation feature allows you to store your Android device's hardware specifications in a database. Once validated, CPU-Z will open your validation URL in your default browser. Optionally, you can enter your email address to receive a reminder link via email.

In case of an abnormal closure due to a bug, the settings screen will appear on the next launch, starting from version 1.03. This screen allows you to disable main detection features to help stabilize the app's performance.

If you encounter any bugs, you can send a detailed report by selecting "Send Debug Infos" from the application menu.
