Before Starting Your Sensor
Before initiating your Sensor, you must decide which device you will use for monitoring. Alarms and glucose readings can be received either on your phone or your FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader, but not on both simultaneously. To receive these notifications on your phone, you need to start the Sensor using the FreeStyle Libre 2 app. Conversely, if you prefer using the Reader, you must start the Sensor with your Reader.
It's crucial to understand that the FreeStyle Libre 2 app and Reader do not share data. For comprehensive data on a device, you should scan your Sensor every 8 hours with that specific device; otherwise, your reports may lack complete data. You can upload and review data from all your devices on LibreView.com.
