The optional FX+ Add-On module unlocks additional capabilities, including access to networked computers via FTP, SSH FTP, WebDAV, and Windows Networking (SMB1 and SMB2), and connectivity to cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, SugarSync, Box, SkyDrive, and OwnCloud. FX+ also enables you to manage installed applications, create and explore AES-256/AES-128 encrypted zip files, browse and organize audio content by artist, album, and playlist, and directly access photo and video folders. For users on Android 8.0 and above, please note the "approximate location" permission is now required due to Android's policies for apps supporting Wi-Fi Direct. Rest assured, FX does not query your location; this permission is only requested when using FX Connect on Android 8.0+ devices.
