Gringo SuperApp: Simplify Your Driving Life in Brazil

Gringo is a Brazilian super app designed to streamline vehicle management, offering a comprehensive suite of services to simplify the lives of drivers. Pay your IPVA, fines, and licensing fees easily, all in one place. With over 20 million users, Gringo provides peace of mind for drivers across the country.

Key Features:

  • Documentation and Debts: Manage and pay your IPVA (2025 and beyond), fines, licensing, and SP VAT. Issue and access your digital CRLV document anytime, even offline. Receive alerts for new fines and debts, avoiding late fees and interest.

  • Payment Flexibility: Pay via Pix, NuPay, bank slip, or in installments (up to 12) on your credit card.

  • Protection: Find and manage your vehicle insurance, customizing your plan with expert assistance. Gringo offers protection options for various car and motorcycle makes, models, and years. Register your current insurance and activate it directly through the app. Enjoy 24-hour roadside assistance.

  • Credit: Secure the best loan options using your car as collateral. Compare offers from up to three financial institutions and choose payment terms ranging from 12 to 72 months. Annual interest rates start from 16.62%.

  • Buy and Sell: Make informed decisions when buying or selling a vehicle. Check updated FIPE values and history, compare against real sale or exchange values, and receive price change notifications. Access vehicle history reports (number of owners, blockages, accidents, etc.) using just the license plate.

Available Services by State:

Gringo's IPVA, licensing, and CRLV-e services are currently available in SP, MG, SC, PR, RS, DF, ES, BA, GO, MA (IPVA and licensing for RJ, RO, MS, and PE). Expansion to other states is planned.

Legal Compliance:

Gringo is authorized to pay traffic fines and other vehicle-related debts, accredited by the National Traffic Secretariat (SENATRAN) in accordance with Ordinances No. 1317/2020, 658/2023, and 149/2018. This accreditation allows direct interaction with state traffic departments and other relevant bodies.

Data Sources:

Gringo collects driver and vehicle data from publicly available information provided by state agencies (DETRANs in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, etc.) and national agencies (SENATRAN), as detailed in Gringo's Privacy Policy. Data sources include: detran.sp.gov.br, www.detran.mg.gov.br, www.detran.ba.gov.br, detran.es.gov.br, www.detran.rj.gov.br, www.detran.df.gov.br, www.detran.ma.gov.br, www.detran.rs.gov.br.
