Dramatic High School Baseball Simulation: Foster Unique Players!

Game Outline

As a lifelong fan of baseball games, I've created a high school baseball simulation that embodies the fun and excitement I've always enjoyed. This game focuses on developing players with as much individuality as the heroes found in baseball manga, ensuring a balanced gameplay experience across hitting, defense, and power.

Imagine hitting that game-winning home run, accompanied by epic background music and iconic lines that amplify the thrill of the moment. This is the vision brought to life in our game.

Take on the role of a high school baseball team manager, guiding players with unique traits—such as pitchers who throw incredible fastballs but struggle with control or change-ups—to victory in the prefectural and Koshien tournaments, with the ultimate goal of clinching the national championship.

This "dramatic high school baseball simulation" is designed for those who relish strategic and developmental gameplay without any gacha elements.

How to Play

Shape your players' futures by directing their training sessions. For fielders, focus on enhancing their meat hitting, power, running ability, defensive skills, and intelligence. For pitchers, prioritize fastballs, change-ups, control, and stamina.

Craft a development plan that aligns with each player's unique personality. Our game features players full of character, and their development journeys can be filled with dramatic episodes:

  • A genius pitcher overcomes the yips and learns to check first base, unlocking his full potential.
  • A beginner, starting with all G-rated skills, dedicates himself to hitting practice and earns a spot as a regular by his junior year.

Thanks to user feedback during development, the game's balance has been fine-tuned, eliminating any guaranteed win strategies. This means you'll need to find your own path to success, building a team that reflects your vision.

Training progresses monthly, with Koshien qualifiers held in July and September. Winning these qualifiers earns your team a spot in Koshien.

Before each match, set your starting lineup and batting order. During the game, you'll make tactical decisions as the coach, directing plays like bunting, stealing bases, executing squeeze plays, and employing end runs or gamble starts.

The game's detailed baseball mechanics allow for strategic plays, such as hitting grounders between first and second base when runners are on. We've included animations for batted ball processing and defensive plays to enhance the visual experience.

In crucial moments, your teammates' passionate cheers and dramatic cut-ins with iconic lines heighten the excitement.

Given the high school setting, seniors retire after the summer tournament. We're planning to introduce a "User Koshien" feature, allowing user-created teams to compete in tournaments, with data preserved from just before the third-year students retire. An official User Koshien tournament is also in the works.

Report a Request or Problem

You can report any issues or requests at any time by clicking the "Report" button on the left side of the screen. As a solo developer, I may take some time to respond, but rest assured that all feedback and bug reports are invaluable for ongoing development.

The game was initially released for Windows and has been continuously improved based on over 100 user requests over the years.

Windows Version

The game is also available on Windows. For more information, visit: https://basebollgame.blogspot.com.
