Asphalt Legends Unite introduces new Lego Technic vehicles

Author : Jacob Mar 15,2025

Asphalt Legends Unite is teaming up with LEGO, bringing the iconic toyline's Technic car kits to the virtual racetrack. This exciting collaboration will feature real-world LEGO Technic car kits, each including a download code to unlock a corresponding virtual vehicle in the game.

Gameloft's racing simulator has a history of unique collaborations, including a previous partnership with Lamborghini and Movember. However, this LEGO Technic crossover marks a particularly exciting addition, bringing the challenging and rewarding building experience of Technic sets into the world of virtual racing. For those unfamiliar, LEGO Technic kits are known for their intricate designs and authentic details, often including moving parts like engines and differentials.

The collaboration kicks off with the LEGO Technic Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, available both as a real-world build and an in-game unlock. To celebrate, a limited-time Collector Mode event runs until March 23rd. This event challenges players across all platforms and regions to collect LEGO Technic disks scattered throughout San Francisco in a special single-player race.

While some purists might initially resist the inclusion of "toys" in a serious racing simulator, the LEGO Technic line boasts a dedicated following of builders of all ages and skill levels, appreciated for its complexity and realistic detailing. The appeal extends beyond simple play, inspiring engineering and design skills.

The unique aspect of this collaboration is the bridge between the physical and digital worlds. Select LEGO Technic car sets will include a download code, allowing players to experience their real-world creations on the virtual track. This innovative approach merges the satisfaction of building with the thrill of competitive racing.
