This impressive collection includes 18 feature-length animated films, spanning from the late 1990s to more recent releases. Among the classics is the 2016 film "Batman: The Killing Joke," an adaptation of Alan Moore's iconic graphic novel. While our review gave it a 6.1, noting that "[t]here's probably a way to expand on the events of The Killing Joke and craft a story that doesn't elevate Batman and Joker at the expense of Batgirl. Sadly, this movie doesn't find the answer. As an adaptation, The Killing Joke succeeds only when it sticks closely to the source material. Its attempts to embellish the original story end in disaster," the collection still offers a wealth of Batman adventures to enjoy.

What Movies Are Included?

  • Batman: Gotham Knight
  • Batman: Year One
  • Batman: Under the Red Hood
  • Batman: Bad Blood
  • Batman vs. Robin
  • Son of Batman
  • Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Parts 1 and 2
  • Batman: Assault on Arkham
  • Batman: The Killing Joke
  • Batman and Harley Quinn
  • Batman: Gotham by Gaslight
  • Batman: Ninja
  • Batman: Return of the Caped Crusader
  • Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
  • Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman
  • Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
  • Superman/Batman: Apocalypse

Note that this collection does not include "Batman: Hush" and "Batman: Death in the Family," the latter of which features an interactive element allowing viewers to influence the story's outcome, much like the original 1988 comic arc.
