Clash Royale is turning nine, and it's gearing up for a massive celebration at the Arena! The 9th birthday season of Clash Royale is packed with new challenges, a fresh Evolution, and some free chests for all players to enjoy.
Grab Your Decks Because the Hunter Just Got an Upgrade!
The spotlight is on Hunter, who is receiving a powerful upgrade that will change the dynamics of the battlefield. With Hunter’s Evolution, he now gains the ability to deploy a Net that traps the nearest enemy troop, rendering it immobile and unable to attack. If the trapped troop is a flying unit, it gets pulled down to the ground, making it susceptible to ground attacks. This makes Hunter Evolution a fantastic choice for countering enemy pushes or supporting your win-condition troops, such as the Royal Giant.
However, no card is invincible. Be wary of counters like the Ice Spirit or Ice Golem, which can disrupt Hunter before he can utilize his new ability. So, strategize to avoid these counters, and may luck be on your side!
The Clash Royale 9th Birthday Season is Filled with Events and Challenges
The season is jam-packed with exciting events. The Hunter Evolution Draft, running from March 3rd to 10th, allows you to build decks incorporating Card Evolutions. Following that, Evolutions Mayhem takes place from March 10th to 17th, where you can include up to four Evolution Cards in your deck.
Next up, Champion Triple Draft starts on March 17th and lasts until March 24th, offering a strategic draft-based battle format. From March 24th to 31st, the Mirror, Mirror challenge ensures a level playing field by providing both players with identical decks.
Evolutions Mayhem makes a comeback from March 31st to April 7th, this time allowing up to eight Evolution Cards for even greater impact. Each of these challenges comes with its own set of rewards, including Banner Frames, Banner Decorations, and Season Tokens.
In celebration of Clash Royale’s birthday, the Supercell Store is offering free gifts. Players in Arena 2-10 can claim a free King’s Chest, while those in Arena 11 and above will receive a Legendary King’s Chest.
