Author : Ethan May 04,2025

The developers of Mortal Kombat 1 have spiced things up with their latest update by introducing a unique challenge for players: a pink ninja named Floyd. Defeating this elusive character unlocks the exclusive Field stage, which was showcased in the game's trailer. Floyd isn't just any opponent; he's a secret character that has quickly become the talk of the gaming community. Enthusiasts have already cracked the code on how to unlock the battle against him and have generously shared detailed guides to help others.

To take on the mysterious Pink Floyd, you must complete ten out of thirty-seven available challenges in one session. These challenges vary, with some requiring specific characters or Kameos, and others asking you to lose under certain conditions. The gaming community has come together to create a comprehensive list of these challenges, which is available in a shared spreadsheet, complete with additional tips to aid your journey.

It's worth noting that you can't simply choose the ten easiest tasks to unlock the fight; the required challenges are randomized each session. Occasionally, Floyd might make an appearance during your gameplay to drop a hint, though these moments are few and far between. The silver lining is that most of these challenges can be tackled on the very easy difficulty setting or even in PvP mode using two controllers, making it more accessible for all players.

Successfully completing all ten challenges grants you three attempts to defeat Pink Floyd. Should you fail, you'll need to start from scratch, completing another set of ten randomized challenges to earn another shot at victory. This exciting new feature not only adds depth to the gameplay but also fosters a sense of community as players share strategies and tips to conquer the challenge.
