Step 1: Initiate the Chunin Exam
Locate the Ichikage NPC in Leaf Village and initiate the exam. Remember, you need to be at least level 18.
Step 2: Written Exam & Weak Ninja Elimination
Answer the following questions correctly:

Proceed to the Forty-Fourth Tower, following the quest marker.
Step 4: Defeat Stone Leo
Inside, speak with Hayake NPC to receive the task of defeating Stone Leo.
Step 5: Final Confrontation & Chunin Promotion
After defeating Stone Leo, speak to Kenma near the Ninja Academy. He'll task you with defeating White Eyes in the arena.
