Dead by Daylight Welcomes Back 2v8 Mode with Resident Evil Collaboration

Dead by Daylight's thrilling new 2v8 mode, a collaboration with the Resident Evil franchise, pits iconic Capcom villains against a team of Resident Evil heroes. This limited-time event offers a fresh take on the core gameplay.

Players can assume the roles of two formidable antagonists: Nemesis and Albert Wesker (The Puppeteer). They'll face off against a squad of recognizable survivors, including Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Ada Wong. The intense action unfolds within the infamous Raccoon City Police Station.

This crossover uniquely pairs Nemesis and Wesker together for the first time in this game mode, resulting in a distinctive experience. Each Killer utilizes their signature infection-based abilities: Nemesis employs the T-Virus, while Wesker utilizes the Uroboros virus to hunt Survivors.

The 2v8 mode introduces Resident Evil-inspired herbs. Survivors use these for healing, while yellow herbs repair hooks. Killers can also collect herbs for a temporary speed boost.

A significant change for both veterans and newcomers is the introduction of a Class System, replacing the traditional Powers and Perks. This system adds a new layer of strategic depth to the gameplay.

The Dead by Daylight x Resident Evil event runs until February 25th. Don't miss this chilling fusion of horror and strategic gameplay!
