Disney+ Free Trial Availability in 2025

Author : Christian May 01,2025

For over a century, Disney has been at the forefront of animated entertainment, delivering cherished classics that continue to captivate audiences across generations. Since November 2019, all the films and projects under Disney's expansive umbrella are available for streaming on any device through a Disney+ subscription.

Unlike many other streaming platforms, Disney+ does not currently offer a free trial for new subscribers. This policy was updated in 2020, making Disney+ one of the pioneering services to eliminate free trials. The Disney+ help center now clearly states that no free trials are available.

Are you a current subscriber to Disney+? ----------------------------------------

Although Disney+ itself doesn't provide a free trial, there are alternative ways to access the service at no initial cost. Verizon customers with Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plans can enjoy a complimentary Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle as part of their myPlan perks for six months. After this period, subscribers will need to pay $10 monthly to continue the service. This is an excellent opportunity for Verizon users to explore a variety of streaming options, similar to what Hulu offers.

Another workaround is to sign up for a free trial of Hulu + Live TV, which includes Disney+ access. While this trial lasts only three days, it's a viable option for a quick weekend test of the service.

While bundling doesn't eliminate subscription costs, it can be a more cost-effective way to manage your streaming services. The Disney+ bundle with Max and Hulu starts at $16.99/month, and the Disney+ and Hulu bundle begins at $10.99/month. If you're already subscribed to Hulu or Max, these bundles could be your most economical route to Disney+.
