Donkey Kong Bananza Set to Launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in July 2025

Nintendo has unveiled Donkey Kong Bananza, a new 3D platforming action game exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2, slated for release on July 17, 2025, at $69.99.

A first-look gameplay trailer debuted during the Nintendo Direct. Here's the official description:

Prepare for Donkey Kong Bananza, an exhilarating 3D platforming adventure exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2. Smash, swing, and climb through dynamic environments, ripping apart terrain to explore new paths. Unleash powerful punches to unlock hidden areas and dive into a chaotic adventure packed with surprises and bananas, launching on Nintendo Switch 2 July 17.

The Nintendo Switch 2 launches June 5, 2025, priced at $449.99.

A Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle, priced at $499.99 in the US, includes the console and a download code for Mario Kart World, available from launch day on June 5. Mario Kart World alone retails for $79.99, a $10 increase over Nintendo's priciest Switch title.
