Baldur's Gate 3's highly anticipated Patch #8 is on the horizon, bringing cross-play functionality, a dedicated photo mode, and a whopping twelve new subclasses. Larian Studios recently offered a sneak peek at four of these subclasses in a video: the enchanting Bard, the colossal Barbarian, the death-dealing Cleric, and the celestial Druid.
While the official release date remains undisclosed, stress tests are currently underway with further sign-up opportunities available. The excitement is palpable as this video marks only Part 1 of a three-part series showcasing all twelve new subclasses. Two additional trailers are planned to reveal the remaining eight.
The ongoing stress test, which began in January and included the introduction of the photo mode, is a significant step towards the launch of this final major patch. Patch #8 will conclude the game's post-launch development, leaving players both satisfied and curious about future Larian projects.
