New Forms of Fan-Favorite Pokémon Revealed at Summer Fest

Author : Oliver May 22,2025

As summer approaches, Pokémon Go enthusiasts are buzzing with excitement about the upcoming Pokémon Go Fest scheduled for June in Jersey City. The event promises a thrilling addition to the game with the introduction of new forms for the beloved Pokémon, Zacian and Zamazenta.

These Warrior Pokémon are set to receive stunning Crowned Forms, powered by the innovative Crowned Sword Energy and Crowned Shield Energy. Trainers will have the opportunity to harness these energies to transform Zacian into Crowned Sword Zacian and Zamazenta into Crowned Shield Zamazenta, enhancing their battle prowess.

The new forms are not just for show; they'll be exceptionally powerful in gameplay. Both Zacian and Zamazenta, in their new Crowned Forms, can participate in Max Battles, despite not being able to Dynamax or Gigantamax as usual. Their formidable special moves, Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash, will make them highly competitive in these battles.

Festa! The Pokémon Go Fests in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris will be the first venues where trainers can encounter Zacian and Zamazenta in five-star raids. These events will also offer the chance to challenge the Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta in five-star raids before they become available to the broader player community.

Tickets for this year's Pokémon Go Fest are still available, but they're going fast. If you're eager to see what's in store, check out Jupiter Hadley's coverage from last year's event to get a taste of the excitement.
