Leslie Benzies, the visionary behind iconic Rockstar titles such as Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, is gearing up to unveil his latest project, MindsEye. This eagerly awaited game received a fresh showcase during the recent PlayStation State of Play, sparking excitement among fans.

The newly released trailer for MindsEye unveils a gripping high-tech spy thriller, drawing noticeable parallels to the acclaimed Grand Theft Auto series. Expect third-person shooting, stunning cinematics, and intense drive-and-shoot action, all of which you can experience in the cinematic trailer below.

According to the official press release, MindsEye follows the journey of Jacob Diaz, who is equipped with a neural implant known as the MindsEye. This device, however, has triggered fragmented flashbacks of his military service, propelling him on a quest to unravel the mysteries of his past. His journey pits him against an AI-powered military force determined to thwart his efforts.

Since its announcement a few years ago, MindsEye has been on the radar of gaming enthusiasts. Following his departure from Rockstar Games, Benzies established Build a Rocket Boy and teamed up with Hitman developer IO Interactive to bring MindsEye to life. Positioned as a AAA action-adventure game, MindsEye will also introduce the Everywhere platform, which we likened to a "big budget Roblox" after visiting their studio in 2024.

While the new trailer did not delve into Everywhere, MindsEye itself promises to be a thrilling new entry in the action genre, crafted by a legendary figure in game design. Fans can look forward to its release in the summer of 2025.
