In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, your shoes will eventually wear out, leaving you to wander barefoot unless you acquire new ones or repair the old. Here's how you can manage your footwear effectively in the game.

How to Get Shoes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Starting with a basic pair of shoes, you're not bound to them throughout the game. You can acquire new shoes through various means. One way is by looting them from chests or defeated enemies like poachers. For a more lawful approach, you can purchase shoes from vendors.

While tailors, such as the one in Troskowitz, sell shoes, they often lack impressive stats. For better quality, seek out a cobbler. You can find a cobbler in Trosky, identified by a symbol on the map resembling three red pieces in a circle, as shown below.

When visiting a cobbler like Matthew, you'll find a variety of items for sale, including shoes and horse gear. Additionally, you can purchase materials and both Blacksmith’s Kits and Cobbler’s Kits from him.

How to Repair Shoes

Repairing your shoes in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* can be done in multiple ways. You can have them fixed by cobblers or blacksmiths by selecting the repair option during your conversation with them. This brings up a menu where you can choose which items to repair and view the associated costs. These costs can be reduced if you invest in the Craftsmanship skill, which offers percentage discounts on NPC repairs for all gear, including shoes and armor.

Alternatively, you can repair your shoes yourself, provided your Craftsmanship level is sufficient. If it's not, you won't be able to repair your own gear. To self-repair, you'll need a Cobbler’s Kit, which can be bought from various vendors, including cobblers and blacksmiths, or found in chests and on NPCs.

To use a Cobbler’s Kit, navigate to it in your inventory and press the interact button ("E" on PC). This opens a menu displaying damaged items that can be repaired with the kit. If an item appears faded, your skill level isn't high enough to repair it. Otherwise, select the items you wish to repair and press the interact button again to fix them.

This guide covers how to get and repair shoes in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For repairing other gear, use a Blacksmith’s Kit similarly. It's always beneficial to keep your gear in good condition, so don't hesitate to seek out a vendor for repairs when needed.
