Author : Evelyn Mar 17,2025

The Year of the Raptor has arrived in Hearthstone, bringing a revitalized competitive scene and a fresh expansion cycle. Kicking things off is the upcoming Into the Emerald Dream expansion, preceded by a special pre-launch event. A new Year of the Raptor game board will also debut, boasting updated visuals and sounds.

This year's Core Set update features a blend of returning favorites, crucial balance adjustments, and exciting new additions. To enhance gameplay, several cards known for their disruptive burst damage and frustrating effects have been removed. Further details on the updated Core Set will be revealed soon.

Hearthstone Esports is back and bigger than ever in 2025! Two Seasonal Championships and a World Championship will crown the ultimate Hearthstone champion. Partnering with Netease Thunderfire, this year's esports program boasts a minimum prize pool of $600,000, aiming to expand the competitive community. Complete format and ruleset details will be shared shortly.

ytFollowing the release of Into the Emerald Dream, Patch 32.2 will introduce a major Arena update. While specifics remain under wraps, this update promises to significantly refine the Arena drafting experience and offer a fresh, exciting approach to the game mode. This patch will also include a Battlegrounds Seasonal Update and the Into the Emerald Dream Mini-Set, arriving a patch earlier than usual.

This adjusted patch schedule reflects a broader shift to better synchronize development and content releases. The Into the Emerald Dream expansion will maintain its standard structure, including all planned updates and events. The regular patch schedule will resume with Patch 33.0 after Patch 32.4.
