Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ series, *Ironheart*, introducing fans to the next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Dominique Thorne returns as Riri Williams, the genius inventor who first donned her Ironheart armor in *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever*. Joining her is Anthony Ramos, who takes on the role of Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood. The trailer promises an engaging narrative that delves into Riri's journey from a supporting character to a leading superhero in her own right.
The teaser hints at a complex relationship between Riri and The Hood, with the latter appearing to mentor Riri in harnessing her potential. However, there's an underlying tension suggesting that The Hood's motives might not be entirely altruistic. This dynamic sets the stage for a thrilling exploration of trust and ambition.
*Ironheart*, helmed by executive producer Ryan Coogler, is set to premiere with a three-episode launch on June 24 at 6pm PT/9pm ET, exclusively on Disney+. The series follows Riri as she reflects on her time in Wakanda as an "internship abroad." After being expelled from MIT, she faces a pivotal decision prompted by The Hood's provocative challenge: "Anyone who has accomplished anything has to do questionable things. Are you in or out?"
The trailer showcases action-packed sequences, including Riri suiting up as Ironheart, soaring through the skies, and executing a dramatic move where she grounds herself before sending a truck flying over her head with a powerful punch.
