KLab Revives Upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Game With New Partner

KLab Inc. provides an update on their upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure mobile game. Initially announced in early 2020 and developed in collaboration with Shengqu Games, the project faced setbacks due to partnership issues. However, KLab has partnered with Wanda Cinemas Games of Beijing to revive development.

The game, now slated for a global release (excluding Japan) in 2026, has overcome significant hurdles. Wanda Cinemas Games boasts a portfolio of successful mobile titles, including Hoolai Three Kingdoms Mobile Game, Calabash Brothers, Fortress Mobile Game, Saint Seiya: Legend of Justice, Tensura: King of Monsters, and The Legend of Qin.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, a long-running manga series by Hirohiko Araki, debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987. It's been adapted into anime and films. The series features a blend of reality and supernatural elements, focusing on epic battles and intricate storylines involving vampires and interdimensional conflicts.

This isn't the franchise's first foray into gaming; a Super Famicom RPG launched in 1993, followed by various titles. Popular Android games include JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Shooters (2014), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records (2017), and JoJo's Pitter Patter Pop! (2018).
