Mark Your Calendars, Warzone Fans — Call of Duty Merch Shop Teases We're 'Dropping Back In' To Verdansk Next Week

The highly anticipated return of Verdansk to Call of Duty Warzone is slated for March 10th, 2025. Activision initially announced Verdansk's comeback last August, but only offered a vague "spring 2025" timeframe. A recent pop-up on the Call of Duty shop, however (spotted by InsiderGaming), reveals a countdown ending on March 10th, solidifying the release date.

The pop-up features a teaser image depicting a snowy alpine landscape with pine trees, a dam, and a crashed plane – iconic elements of the original Verdansk map before its replacement by Verdansk '84 and later Caldera. Currently, the only way to experience the original Verdansk is through Call of Duty Warzone Mobile.

This news will be a welcome surprise for fans, considering the 2021 statement declaring the original Verdansk's permanent removal.
