Marvel Rivals' Spring Festival Event Launches

Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals is kicking off its Spring Festival event this Thursday! Get ready for a free Star-Lord costume and a brand-new game mode: Clash of Dancing Lions. In this 3v3 showdown, teams battle to score a ball in their opponent's goal.

While the mode's mechanics might remind some of Rocket League, it bears a closer resemblance to Overwatch's Lucioball—the first special game mode in that title. This comparison is particularly interesting, as Marvel Rivals is currently striving to establish its own unique identity and differentiate itself from Overwatch. The Spring Festival event, while exciting, features a game mode strikingly similar to Overwatch's inaugural event, albeit with a vibrant Chinese New Year theme instead of an Olympic Games theme.

The good news? The Spring Festival event begins very soon, so you won't have to wait long to jump in and experience the action!
