Monopoly's Valentine's Day Update: Love is in the Air (and on the Board!)

Get ready for a romantic twist on classic Monopoly! Marmalade Game Studio and Hasbro have released a Valentine's Day update for their Android and iOS Monopoly game, brimming with limited-time content to celebrate love in your favorite digital board game.

This update includes a fun quiz to match you with one of four love-themed Monopoly tokens, a 24-hour free trial of your matched token, and exciting new House Rules for a faster, more dynamic gameplay experience.

Token Match Quiz and Free Trial:

Take a quiz to discover which of four tokens best represents your style of love. Enjoy a 24-hour free trial of your matched token. After the trial, purchase the token at a discounted rate.

Revamped House Rules:

Experience Monopoly like never before with the new House Rules:

  • Quick Hotels: Build hotels with three houses instead of four.
  • Quick End: The game ends after the first player goes bankrupt.
  • Quick Jail: Escape jail on your first turn.
  • Starting Title Deeds: Begin with three random properties.
  • Tax, Chance, and Community Chest Skip: Streamline your game by skipping these spaces.

These changes promise a faster, more action-packed game.

Cupid-Inspired Tokens and Bundles:

New Cupid-themed tokens are available, along with the Sweethearts bundle featuring two adorable cherubs.

Radu Rovin, Head of Studio at Marmalade Game Studio, states: "We aimed to create an event celebrating diverse forms of love this Valentine's Day, from friendships built during Monopoly games to the simple joy of self-care through playtime."
