Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, launching March 6th, 2025, promises a thrilling update packed with new content. Before the season officially begins, players can encounter the Chatacabra on February 28th, making its debut ahead of its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Weapon balance adjustments are a key focus, aiming to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, simplifying targeting of breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward precise timing with amplified power and more satisfying combos. The Guard skill also receives a significant upgrade; higher skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further balance tweaks will be detailed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

And There's More!

Season 5 addresses a common player frustration: overflowing inventories. An Item Box Expansion, available as a Supply Item, will provide an extra 250 inventory slots.

A new feature celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary arrives on March 17th. This feature allows trading of special materials earned through hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
