Author : Emma May 02,2025

Capcom has officially announced the global release times for the highly anticipated game, Monster Hunter Wilds. Players eager to dive into this latest installment of the iconic monster hunting franchise can mark their calendars for the following dates and times:

Generally, players can start playing Monster Hunter Wilds on their consoles (PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X and S) at 12am on Friday, February 28, local time. For those on PC, the game will be available later in the day. However, if you're in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone, you can enjoy the game on both console and PC starting at 9pm on Thursday, February 27.

It's important to note that if you've opted for a physical copy of Monster Hunter Wilds, you'll need to download a 15GB update before you can start playing, as confirmed by Capcom. If you've pre-ordered the digital version, you can download the latest update now to ensure you're ready to go when the game launches on February 28.

Monster Hunter Wilds is the next big release in Capcom's renowned monster hunting series. IGN's review of Monster Hunter Wilds awarded it an 8/10, stating, "Monster Hunter Wilds continues to smooth off the rougher corners of the series in smart ways, making for some extremely fun fights but also lacking any real challenge."
