Excitement is building for fans of Mortal Kombat 1 as the game's Official Kombat Pack DLC introduces Omni-Man, voiced by the original actor, J.K. Simmons. This thrilling announcement was made by none other than Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon during an interview at San Diego Comic-Con 2023 with Skybound, confirming that fans will experience the authentic voice of Omni-Man from Amazon Prime Video's series Invincible.

As the full roster for Mortal Kombat 1 has been unveiled, including base roster characters, Kameo Fighters, and the Kombat Pack, there's been much speculation about the voice cast. While the 3D models of the characters are inspired by their 2D counterparts, the confirmation of J.K. Simmons voicing Omni-Man adds a layer of excitement and authenticity to the upcoming game.

Omni-Man joins the fray as part of the Official Kombat Pack DLC. Although Ed Boon didn't delve into specifics about Omni-Man's gameplay, he hinted at the release of gameplay and 'hype' videos leading up to the game's launch on September 19, 2023. These videos are expected to showcase Omni-Man and build anticipation among the fanbase.
