Renowned lacquerware brand Yamada Heiando, in collaboration with The Pokémon Company, has released a limited-edition collection of Pokémon bowls inspired by the Chinese Zodiac. These handcrafted beauties feature Pikachu (Rat), Ekans (Snake), and Dragonite (Dragon), each representing positive attributes for children's development: kindness, growth, and openness respectively.

The bowls, described as "gentle guardians," are designed with babies and children in mind, promising a joyful dining experience.

Initially sold out within hours on January 17th, 2025, a second sales period begins January 31st. A two-item purchase limit per customer applies. Each set costs 16,500 JPY (approximately $105 USD), with international shipping available (additional charges may apply). Yamada Heiando hints at future Zodiac Pokémon bowl releases.

Separately, The Pokémon Company launched a Pokémon Center exclusive: the "Evolving Personalities Figure" line, showcasing Eevee's evolutions. The initial release (January 16th, 2025) featured Jolteon (skillful), Flareon (satisfied), and Vaporeon (playful). Further releases, in groups of three, are planned throughout the year, each Eeveelution assigned a unique personality trait.
