Pokémon Go’s Road to Unova event is the perfect way to prepare for this year’s tour

Pokémon Go Tour: Unova is almost here! The global event kicks off March 1st and 2nd, but you can get a head start with "Road to Unova," running February 24th to March 1st.

This pre-event offers a free Tour Pass, letting you earn points and unlock bonuses by completing tasks. For a boosted experience, consider the optional Deluxe Pass, which includes a Victini encounter.

Shiny Meloetta makes its Pokémon Go debut during this period! A Masterwork Research ticket ($4.99) unlocks the chance to catch this Shiny Pokémon. The research doesn't expire, allowing completion at your leisure. Additional tickets provide event-exclusive bonuses, like themed eggs and raid rewards, plus unique avatar items.

Road to Unova features increased wild spawns of Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott, with potential encounters of their evolved forms. Raids will feature Genesect (various drives), Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion, offering chances to catch Pokémon with special Black and White-themed backgrounds.
