Pokémon TCG: Pocket to Debut Trading with New Expansion

Pokémon TCG Pocket's highly anticipated trading feature arrives January 29th! A new expansion, "Space-Time Smackdown," follows on January 30th.

The trading feature, as the name suggests, allows players to exchange cards with friends, mirroring the physical card game experience. Trade hourglasses and tokens will be required. This addition promises a more authentic digital TCG experience.

Space-Time Smackdown introduces beloved Pokémon from the Sinnoh region. Two new digital booster packs feature legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia.

A Powerful LineupBeyond the legendaries, popular Pokémon like Lucario and the Sinnoh starter trio (Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup) join the roster. These can be obtained through Wonder Pick and standard booster packs.

This update is expected to be a major success, particularly due to the inclusion of long-awaited Pokémon. However, some concerns regarding the trading mechanics have surfaced, highlighting the need for ongoing adjustments.
