Rauora is the new Rainbow Six Siege operator

Author : Nathan Feb 25,2025

Ubisoft's Six Invitational concluded with the unveiling of Rainbow Six Siege's newest addition: Rauora, an attack operator hailing from New Zealand. A key feature is her DOM launcher, a deployable, bulletproof shield designed for doorways. While indestructible by gunfire, explosives can breach it. The shield's trigger mechanism offers a strategic advantage; attackers open it in one second, while defenders require three, a significant difference during defuser situations.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game. Players can also select the M249 LMG or 417 marksman rifle as alternative primary weapons.

Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the coming week, with a wider release on the live servers to follow shortly after.
