While Jasmine and Aladdin are stealing the spotlight with the *Disney Dreamlight Valley* Tales of Agrabah update, a new kitchen essential might just be the most valuable addition: the Slow Cooker. Getting your hands on it, however, isn't a walk in the park. Let's dive into how to acquire and use this handy cooking tool.

Tiana cooking in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Before venturing to Agrabah, pay Tiana a visit. She'll initiate a quest that unlocks the Slow Cooker, a game-changer allowing you to cook meals without constant supervision. If you completed the "A Taste for Literature" quest (introduced in 2024), you can accept the "Slow and Steady" quest from Tiana in the Valley.

Tiana will ask you to make Gumbo, a five-star meal. Experienced players likely already have the recipe; if not, consult your recipe book. But before gathering ingredients, you must craft the Slow Cooker itself.

Once crafted, place your Slow Cooker in a convenient location. Gumbo is just the beginning; it's one of the most practical items in the game. To make Gumbo for Tiana, you'll need:

  • Chili Peppers
  • Okra
  • Onions
  • Tomatoes
  • Shrimp

Most ingredients (except Shrimp) are available from Goofy's stalls or grown from seeds. For Shrimp, fish at Dazzle Beach, looking for blue ripples to indicate a bite. Once you have all the ingredients, place them in the Slow Cooker and choose to make three portions of Gumbo. It takes about 15 minutes to cook; use this time to explore the rest of the Tales of Agrabah update.
