⚫︎ SHIFT UP, the developers behind Stellar Blade, teamed up with JND Studios to launch pre-orders for stunning 1/3 scale hyper-realistic figures of characters EVE and Tachy on April 18. The Dual version, priced at $3,599, sold out in mere minutes, while the individual EVE figure, at $2,199, still has limited stock available. These collectible statues are set to ship in Q3 2026.

⚫︎ JND Studios, in collaboration with Shift-Up, announced on April 8, 2025, that they will be crafting officially licensed, hyper-realistic figurines of Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve and the eighth boss Tachy. This partnership was first teased in July 2024, and fans can expect these detailed collectibles to hit the shelves later this year.

⚫︎ Shift Up unveiled during the latest State of Play that Stellar Blade is set to launch on PC in June 2025. Alongside this exciting news, the studio also confirmed the release of the Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC in the same month, which will include a new boss battle, collectible dolls and stickers, and a fresh outfit.

⚫︎ To kick off the new year, Shift Up Studio rewarded each employee with a PlayStation 5 Pro console and a collective monetary bonus of ¥1,000,000 (around $32,000). This generous gesture celebrates the successful 2023 launch of Stellar Blade on PlayStation 5, which received acclaim, robust sales, and numerous nominations at The Game Awards.

⚫︎ Stellar Blade’s protagonist, Eve, triumphed in the Best New Character category at the PlayStation Blog's Game of the Year 2024 Awards. Eve outshone competitors like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Jane Harrow, Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s Emmrich Volkarin, and Rise of the Rōnin’s Ryoma Sakamoto. Other notable mentions included Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Strohl, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail’s Wuk Lamat, and Helldivers 2’s General Brasch, all receiving significant fan support.

⚫︎ Stellar Blade is set to celebrate the holiday season with an event in Xion starting December 17, 2024. The city square and The Last Gulp gathering hall will be adorned with festive lights, a vibrant Christmas tree, and seasonal decorations. The in-camp ambience will be enhanced with new BGM tracks "Dawn (Winter)" and "Take Me Away," providing a relaxing soundtrack. Additionally, a holiday-themed mini-game will be introduced, offering players a fun diversion and rewards.

⚫︎ Shift Up released a patch to fix issues stemming from the Stellar Blade x Nier Automata update. This free update introduced Nier Automata-themed cosmetics and a new Photo Mode, which became popular for its Easter eggs, especially Eve’s 2B outfits. However, it also caused crashes and missing costumes. The hotfix improves Photo Mode stability, preventing crashes during in-game screenshots, and restores any missing Nier Automata outfits.

November 22
⚫︎ On November 11, 2024, Shift Up Studio’s technical director Donki Lee shared exciting news about Stellar Blade. A free update (version 1.009.001) added four new outfits, one accessory, enhanced lip-sync support, and introduced a new photo mode. Additionally, Lee announced the first paid DLC, a crossover with NieR: Automata, developed collaboratively by Directors Kim Hyung Tae and Yoko Taro, celebrating the influence of Automata on the project.

⚫︎ Despite high hopes from fans, Stellar Blade did not make it to the Game of the Year finalists at The Game Awards, sparking discussions on social media, particularly given the inclusion of Elden Ring's DLC among the nominees. However, Stellar Blade received nominations in Best Action Game and Best Score and Music, acknowledging its gameplay and soundtrack excellence.
