HoYoverse's Tears of Themis Unveils "Ballad of the Dunes" Collaboration
Tears of Themis has launched a new collaborative event, "Ballad of the Dunes," partnering with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism department. This exciting crossover merges the game's detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a city nestled on the Gobi Desert's edge.
What's New in "Ballad of the Dunes"?
This event blends history, romance, and mystery within a captivating Silk Road setting. Players will unravel intriguing cases steeped in ancient history. The highlight is the introduction of four new MR cards, each featuring one of the main characters (Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius) and inspired by Dunhuang's artistic elements, including apsaras, murals, and the pipa. These cards, titled "In the Footsteps of Silk" (Luke), "Serenade of the Soul" (Artem), "Reverberation Through Time" (Vyn), and "Void of Creation" (Marius), offer unique storylines and Private Messages that delve into a thousand-year-old journey.
Event Rewards:
From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A core challenge involves a cell-flipping game board revealing prizes. The grand prize is a choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Flipping 100 cells unlocks the exclusive "Celebration – Dunes" Namecard.
