Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Receives Rating in Singapore

Author : Patrick Apr 01,2025

The buzz around a potential Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remake is heating up, and the latest fuel to the rumor fire comes from Singapore's rating board. They've rated "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a 2025 release, adding significant credibility to the whispers of a new installment in the iconic skateboarding series. This rumored collection is set to include the next two mainline games, promising to bring the thrill of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater to a wide array of platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

While no official confirmation has been made yet, a countdown timer spotted in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is teasing some Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news, set to be revealed on March 4, 2025. This has fans eagerly anticipating what could be a major announcement.

Adding to the excitement, Tony Hawk himself has hinted at new developments. In a conversation with Mythical Kitchen, Hawk revealed that he's been in talks with Activision again, and they're working on something that "fans will truly appreciate." This statement comes on the heels of the successful Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake released in 2020, which set a high bar for what fans expect from a remake of the next two games in the series.

Originally, the plan was to follow up the 1+2 remake with a 3+4 collection, as Tony Hawk mentioned during a Twitch livestream in 2022. However, the absorption of the original developer, Vicarious Visions, into Blizzard in 2021 threw a wrench into those plans. Activision sought other developers to take on the project, but according to Hawk, they were hesitant to trust anyone else with the franchise the way they did Vicarious Visions.

Despite these challenges, the Singaporean ratings board listing Activision as both the publisher and developer for the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remake suggests that the project is moving forward. With the countdown timer set to end next week on March 4, fans won't have to wait long to find out more about who's behind this highly anticipated remake and what it will bring to the table.
