Unlock All Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

For all the completionists and trophy hunters out there, you'll be thrilled to know that *Monster Hunter Wilds* offers some challenging achievements to conquer. We're here to guide you through unlocking all the hidden achievements in this thrilling game.

All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there are 12 secret achievements waiting to be discovered. Seven of these are linked to the main story progression, which you'll naturally unlock as you advance through the game. The remaining five are tied to optional objectives, detailed below:

  • I Caught a Shooting Star!: Caught a creature in the desert that shines like a shooting star.
  • A Prize Held High: Caught a creature that bears an Ancient Wyvern Coin.
  • A Legacy Restored: Obtained an Artian Weapon of Rarity 8.
  • Seasoned Hunter: Hunted 50 Tempered monsters.
  • Top of the Food Chain: Hunted 50 Apex Predators.

While some of these achievements are straightforward, others require a bit more effort. Let's dive into how to unlock each one.

I Caught a Shooting Star!

To unlock this achievement, head to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night. Equip yourself with screamer pods and keep an eye out for a Baunos flying near the gathering spots. Shoot the screamer pods at it, then use your Capture Net to catch it.

A Prize Held High

This achievement can be achieved in any map, but focus on areas with tight corners and dead ends. Specifically, go to Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest and find the small puddle of water. Use your Capture Net to catch the small golden crab. Alma will often comment when you're near a creature with the Ancient Wyvern Coin, hinting at its presence.

A Legacy Restored

Once you reach High Rank missions, you can start crafting Artian gear. To obtain Rarity 8 weapons and materials, you'll need to hunt Tempered monsters while equipped with Rarity 7 gear.

Seasoned Hunter

Don't confuse Tempered monsters with Frenzied monsters, which are outlined in red. Tempered monsters are marked in purple on the minimap. Both slaying and capturing them will contribute to this achievement. They start appearing from Chapter 4 onwards, once you enter High Rank content.

Top of the Food Chain

This achievement is straightforward, but note that only the following monsters count as Apex Predators: Rey, Dau, Uth, Duna, Nu, Udra, and Jin Dahaad.

That's how you can unlock all the hidden achievements in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For more tips and information on the game, including the best gathering set to use, be sure to check out The Escapist.
