Zenless Zone Zero's developers, miHoYo (HoYoverse), continue to expand the game's roster. A new trailer showcases the highly anticipated heroine, Evelyn Chevalier.
Evelyn, already a fan favorite even before official release thanks to beta testers revealing her unique battle quirk – she sheds her cape mid-fight, using it as a weapon – is an S-rank Fire-element Assault character. She'll be featured in the second banner of Zenless Zone Zero's 1.5 update alongside Nicole, Anton, and Qingyi.
The 1.5 update itself brings the usual miHoYo (HoYoverse) compensation: 300 Polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements, delivered via in-game mail.
Evelyn's gameplay centers on focused attacks. Her basic attacks draw enemy aggression, allowing for extended combo chains. Her multi-stage and special attacks utilize "Forbidden Bounds," binding her to the primary target. These attacks generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, fueling her powerful fire-based abilities, inflicting substantial damage. Her cape-tossing combat flourish, previously leaked, has further cemented her popularity.
