Marvel's Wolverine Not Included in Recent Roadmap from Insomniac Games

In a recent interview with Variety, Insomniac Games' Co-Head Chad Dezern discussed the studio's ambitious roadmap but remained tight-lipped about any new developments surrounding Marvel's Wolverine. Dezern emphasized that while the team is excited about upcoming projects, they are committed to staying the course with their existing projects. Marvel’s Wolverine First Announced in 2021

Marvel's Wolverine was first unveiled during the PlayStation Showcase 2021, with a cinematic teaser trailer that confirmed its development for the PlayStation 5. In a 2023 interview with the YouTube group Kinda Funny, Bryan Intihar, Creative Director of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, revealed that Marvel's Wolverine is set in the same universe as Marvel's Spider-Man, specifically universe 1048. While fans hoped for a crossover event or teasers between the two games, the only nod thus far has been a Wolverine-themed suit named "The Best There Is" in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

In December 2023, Insomniac Games faced a targeted ransomware attack, which led to Marvel's Wolverine's development assets and gameplay showcase being briefly accessible to the public.
