Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: A Snowy Start and Stellar Additions

Xbox Game Pass is gearing up for a strong finish to January 2025, following a relatively quiet first half of the month. The highlight? Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, a day-one release for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on January 21st. This exciting skiing game offers both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes.

While the initial January 2025 Game Pass additions were primarily title shifts within existing tiers, the second half of the month promises a more substantial update. Beyond Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, several other day-one titles are joining the Ultimate tier, including:

  • Eternal Strands (January 28th): This action-adventure game from Yellow Brick Games, helmed by BioWare veteran Mike Laidlaw, boasts a distinct Zelda-esque feel.
  • Sniper Elite: Resistance (January 30th): A new entry in the popular Sniper Elite franchise.
  • Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (January 31st): The highly anticipated sequel.

This influx of new titles makes January 2025's second wave a significant boost for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. All these games will be available at no extra cost beyond the subscription fee.

The full list of January 2025 Game Pass additions includes:

  • Carrion - January 2nd
  • Road 96 - January 7th
  • Diablo - January 14th
  • EA Sports UFC 3 - January 14th
  • Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders - January 21st
  • Eternal Strands - January 28th
  • Sniper Elite: Resistance - January 30th
  • Citizen Sleeper 2 - January 31st

In contrast, February 2025 currently appears to have a lighter Game Pass schedule. While Avowed is confirmed for February 18th (Game Pass Ultimate), details on further additions remain scarce. Until then, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have a packed late January to look forward to!
