Hangry Morpeko Is Coming To Pokémon GO This Halloween!

Pokémon GO's Halloween event is here! Niantic has revealed the details for Part 1 (with a Part 2 to follow!), promising exciting features and spooky encounters.

The event runs from Tuesday, October 22nd, 10:00 a.m. local time, to Monday, October 28th, 10:00 a.m. local time.

Event Highlights:

Morpeko makes its Pokémon GO debut! This Electric/Dark-type Pokémon boasts a unique ability: it switches between Full Belly and Hangry Modes mid-battle, altering its Aura Wheel attack (100 power, Attack boost in both modes). You'll have increased chances of encountering Morpeko in the GO Battle League's premium track during the event, and afterward at Rank 16 and above (though more frequent in the premium track).

Get into the Halloween spirit with special holiday decorations and a nightly remix of the classic Lavender Town theme music!

Dynamax Gastly appears in one-star Max Battles, alongside Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.

A free Timed Research event focuses on Spiritomb and its 108 spirits, running from October 22nd to November 3rd. Complete tasks for encounters with Halloween Pokémon, including Spiritomb and Morpeko.
