Q. What makes PianoGuru different from other piano learning apps?
A. Most typical piano apps guide you by highlighting the next note to play
or dropping bars as a visual cue. You simply follow the prompt and press the note. This doesn’t truly help you learn a song, as you’re focusing on one note at a time instead of learning a melody. With that method, you’d never play a song independently.
To make learning effective, PianoGuru helps you take small, manageable steps. Each song is broken into short verses or sequences of notes. Verses are kept brief so you can master one tune at a time, and you can easily switch between them. Like a human instructor, Piano Guru suggests notes when you’re stuck.
Q. Does PianoGuru work offline?
A. Yes. After installation, the app downloads song data and stores it on your device. It then works fully offline.

A. Simply post a request on your Facebook wall with the hashtag #pianoguruapp, and we’ll add it as soon as possible.
