Piston requires a separate ELM327 Bluetooth or WiFi adapter. It's compatible with OBD-II (OBDII, OBD2), and EOBD standards. OBD2 is mandated for US vehicles from 1996, EU petrol vehicles from 2001, EU diesel vehicles from 2004, Australian and New Zealand petrol vehicles from 2006, and Australian and New Zealand diesel vehicles from 2007.
