At the outset of each level, select your preferred plants from an initial set of two, with the option to expand your selection up to thirty unique plants across ten slots as you advance. Navigate through five distinct lanes, where zombies advance single-file towards your home. Deploy a variety of plants, each boasting unique abilities, to halt the zombies' advance. Earn "sun" to plant your defenses, either freely during daytime levels or by utilizing specific sun-generating plants. Should a zombie breach your defenses and reach the end of a lane, a lawnmower will sweep in to clear the threat. However, a second breach on the same lane spells game over.
