Application Description

Use our intuitive app to effortlessly create and submit catch records for all English and Welsh under 10 metre (U10m) flag vessels that operate in UK waters. This tool is essential for all U10m vessels to accurately document their catches, which is crucial for the UK fishing authorities to manage fishing levels sustainably.

This service is available to you if you are a registered vessel owner or a skipper. As a registered vessel owner, you will receive an invitation email to start using the service. The timing of this email depends on your vessel's size, and you have one calendar month from receipt to register and begin using the service. If you are a skipper, simply reach out to the vessel owner to request an invitation.

Please note, if you are a member of a producer organisation and lease quota, you should continue to use a paper logbook and not utilize this online service for recording your catch.

This new service streamlines the process by replacing the NEP1 form and the MSAR1 form. However, be aware that local Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities (IFCAs) may still require additional information depending on your location. It also eliminates the need for a logbook when leasing fish quota and/or when fishing in two ICES areas (currently IV4/VIId and VIId/VIIe).
