A competitive solitaire-style game for two to four players, also referred to as «Rencor y Malicia».
Also known as «Cat and Mouse» or «Screw Your Neighbor», «Spite & Malice» is a classic card game for two to four people. It is an adaptation of the late 19th-century continental game «Crapette» and functions as a form of competitive solitaire with numerous rule variations, playable with two or more standard decks. It originates as a derivative of «Russian Bank». The commercial edition of this game is sold as «Skip-Bo». Unlike the commercial version, «Spite & Malice» uses traditional playing cards.
The goal of the game is to be the first player to play all the cards from their personal deck in a correctly ordered sequence, thereby winning the round.
