Tingklik is a traditional musical instrument from Bali.
The Tingklik is a traditional Balinese musical instrument crafted from bamboo blades, played by striking them with a beater called a "penggul." The Tingklik Gamelan ensemble includes two main instruments: Tingklik Polos and Tingklik Sangsih. A standard tingklik typically features eleven to twenty-five bamboo blades. The number of blades varies depending on the musical scale used. It is played with both hands: the right hand performs the kotekan (melody), while the left hand plays the rhythm, sometimes with the right hand handling the sangsih part and the left hand playing the polos part.
