Embark on an exhilarating journey with Balloon Drops, a match-three puzzle game that starts off simple but quickly ramps up the challenge with a variety of obstacles and objectives. As you progress through over 300 levels spread across 5 difficulty modes, including a relaxed no-timer special, you'll encounter an array of puzzles that will test your matching skills to the limit.
The game introduces exciting features such as Mystery Items and auto-reshuffle/hints to keep you engaged. With 15 dazzling power-up combinations at your disposal, you can create powerful chained power-up cascades that will help you level up faster. Each level is uniquely designed with different objectives and challenges, mixed with various board shapes to keep the gameplay fresh and exciting.
Objectives and Challenges
Each level in Balloon Drops presents you with four possible objectives:
- Score quota: Reach a specific score to progress.
- Removing dark pulps: Clear balloons on top of dark pulps, which come in three levels of difficulty. The darkest pulp requires clearing three balloons on top of it.
- Bringing down popcorns: Guide popcorns to the bottom of the game board.
- Free all the balloons from the net: Release balloons trapped behind nets.
Additionally, you'll face two types of challenges on each level:
- Complete the objective before time runs out.
- Complete the objective before you run out of swaps.
Obstacles
Navigate through various obstacles that add complexity to the game:
- Party hat/Cup cakes: These cannot be moved and are only cleared by removing an adjacent balloon or triggering a checkered or double balloon power-up. Clearing a party hat leaves a level 3 dark pulp.
- Netted balloon: These balloons are trapped behind a net and can only be freed by matching them with two other balloons of the same kind or by a triggered power-up chain.
Power-Ups and Mystery Items
Matching four or more balloons rewards you with power-ups, including:
- Checkered balloon (horizontal and vertical orientation).
- Double balloon.
- Rainbow balloon.
Mystery items, unboxed by matching gift box colors with balloon colors, can either be power-ups that ease your progress or obstacles that increase the challenge, adding an element of surprise and luck to your gameplay.
