Alphabet - Russian Alphabet for Children and Toddlers
Talking Alphabet for Children and Toddlers is an engaging educational game designed with love, inspired by my own daughter's learning journey. This app offers various modes to help children from 3 to 5 years old and toddlers master the Russian alphabet, including letters, sounds, vowels, consonants, voiced, and unvoiced sounds. The game features vibrant illustrations, a user-friendly interface, and professional voice acting by a Russian language teacher.
Understanding the alphabet is crucial for young learners, enabling them to quickly grasp letters and sounds, which is a fundamental step towards reading proficiency. Our game includes two voiceover options: one for sounds and another for letters in Russian.
The Alphabet for Children is tailored for young learners, ideally suited for children aged 4 to 6, though exceptionally capable children can start as early as 3 years old, with the optimal age being 5 years before entering school.
It's recommended to begin learning with vowels: A, O, U, Y, I, E, Yo, E, Yu, Ya (10 in total). These are easier to pronounce, making them ideal for young learners to start with. Initially, children learn 6 vowel sounds: A, O, U, Y, I, E, followed by 4 vowel letters that are combinations of two sounds: E = Y + O; E = Y + E; Yu = Y + U; Ya = Y + A. Vowels can be categorized into stressed and unstressed.
Following vowels, children progress to consonants: B, V, G, D, ZH, Z, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, F, X, Ts, Ch, Sh, Shch (21 in total), along with 2 auxiliary letters Ъ and Ь. The Russian alphabet comprises 33 letters in total.
This educational game is completely free and designed to facilitate quick learning of sounds and letters. If your child enjoys the game, please leave a review—it’s the best way to support us. Thank you, and wishing happiness to your family!
