Application Description

In the wake of meteor showers, melting glaciers, and rising sea levels that have engulfed the world, survival hinges on your ability to adapt and thrive in the new oceanic era. *Ocean New Era* is an immersive game centered around survival, development, and adventure on the vast, uncharted waters. As a lone castaway, your journey begins on an abandoned raft, which serves as the foundation for your new home. You'll need to upgrade water purifiers, expand your raft, connect with drifting structures, establish resource production lines, embark on underwater adventures, and uncover the remnants of the old world to create a powerful and comfortable haven in this submerged new era.

Mysterious Crystals from Meteor Showers

The meteor showers that marked the end of the old civilization brought with them extraterrestrial crystals, heralding infinite possibilities for the new era. These crystals have revolutionized seawater purification, miniature energy technologies, and energy shield technology, becoming the cornerstone of life in a world covered by seawater. Harnessing their power is essential for not just surviving but thriving in this new environment.

Freshwater, the Lifeline

In the vast ocean, freshwater is your lifeline. The seawater purifier at the heart of your home, powered by crystal technology, is your primary source of this vital resource. As you construct and upgrade buildings, accommodate more people, and train soldiers, your freshwater consumption increases. Additionally, unpredictable heat waves can further strain your supply, making efficient management critical for survival.

Raft Expansion

Starting with a small, stranded raft, you'll need to gather logs and craft wooden planks to expand your living space. As you grow, you might encounter other scattered rafts with various buildings that add diverse functionalities to your home. From cabins with animals aiding in logging and fishing to processing factories for sawing planks and cooking fish, and even a bar to invite seafaring adventurers, each expansion brings you closer to establishing a well-equipped home on the water.

Small Animals as Helpers

The sea's rise has affected not just humans but various small animals as well. During your expansion, you may come across these creatures. Offering them shelter can turn them into invaluable helpers. Otters assist with logging, pelicans with fishing, penguins with resource transportation, beavers with sawing planks, and cats with cooking fish. With their help, you can establish an automated resource production line, freeing you to focus on home construction and ocean exploration.

Underwater Adventures

While crystal technology offers endless possibilities, the remnants of the old era remain irreplaceable treasures. Upgrading your structures may require specific materials only found in the submerged depths. Although you can't dive yourself, you can recruit seafaring adventurers from the bar to explore and retrieve what you need. The underwater world is filled with marvels—lost cities, dangerous marine creatures, and various unknowns and challenges waiting to be discovered.
