First up, let's take a closer look at Cloudspire Coordinator. This uncommon creature card is a perfect representation of the red-white color pairing in Aetherdrift, embodying the spirit of the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem, which was first introduced in the 2018 set, Battlebond. With a power of 3, Cloudspire Coordinator is designed to crew vehicles effectively, and its activated ability allows you to create Pilot token creatures to take the wheel. This card could be a game-changer in your red-white deck during an Aetherdrift draft.

Next, we have the rare enchantment, Count on Luck. This 3-mana card with an all-red-pip casting cost introduces an exciting "impulse draw" mechanic. At the start of each of your turns, you exile the top card of your library and can play it during that turn. This straightforward yet powerful effect ensures a steady stream of extra cards for your mono-red deck, as long as you're ready to use them immediately. It's a "use it or lose it" strategy that can turn the tide of the game.

We're also excited to showcase Count on Luck in its extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. While the extended-art version expands the art beyond the traditional card frame, the First-Place Foils introduce a dazzling new element to Aetherdrift. These golden cards are exclusive to a randomized buy-a-box promo pack included with every Aetherdrift box, featuring all the rares in the set and 10 full-art lands.

Mark your calendars: Aetherdrift will be available both in paper and online starting February 14, with prereleases beginning on February 7. To delve deeper into the set's mechanics, click here.
